Your privacy matters to us. This policy explains clearly and plainly what information Non-Sport.Cards collects, why we collect it, and how you can control it. We don’t sell your data — ever. We’re collectors too, and we treat your trust like a PSA 10.

01 Who We Are

Non-Sport.Cards (https://www.non-sport.cards/) is an independent media platform dedicated to non-sports trading cards — covering movies, TV, music, pop culture, vintage sets, and comic franchises including Marvel, DC Comics, Star Wars, and more.

We are the data controller responsible for the personal information collected through this website. If you have any questions about this policy or how your data is handled, please use the contact details at the bottom of this page.

02 Information We Collect

We collect information in two ways: information you give us directly, and information collected automatically when you use the site.

Information You Provide Directly

  • Contact & Inquiry Forms: Your name, email address, and message content when you reach out to us.
  • Newsletter Sign-Up: Your email address if you subscribe to our collector updates and release alerts.
  • Comments & Community: Your name, email address, and any content you submit in comments or community features.
  • Account Registration: Username, email address, and password if you create an account on the site.

Information Collected Automatically

  • Usage Data: Pages visited, time spent on pages, referring URLs, and navigation paths.
  • Device & Browser Data: IP address, browser type, operating system, screen resolution, and device type.

We do not collect sensitive personal data such as financial information, government ID numbers, health data, or payment card details directly. Any transactions facilitated through affiliate partners are handled by those partners under their own privacy policies.

03 How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

We work with a limited number of trusted third-party services to operate the site. Each service is governed by its own privacy policy.

  • WordPress.com / Automattic: Website hosting, content management, and comment systems. Read the Automattic Privacy Policy.
  • Google Analytics (Google LLC): Site traffic and behavior analytics.
  • Affiliate Networks: eBay Partner Network, Amazon Associates, and similar card marketplace affiliates. Clicking affiliate links may place tracking cookies on your device per those platforms’ policies.
  • Email Newsletter Provider: We may use a service such as Mailchimp or similar to manage newsletter subscriptions. Your email is stored securely with the provider and is not sold or shared.
  • Social Media Embeds: Embedded content from Instagram or Twitter/X may load third-party cookies. We recommend reviewing those platforms’ privacy policies.

We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for marketing purposes.

06 Your Rights

Depending on your location, you may have the following rights regarding your personal data:

EEA / UK Residents (GDPR): You have the right to lodge a complaint with your local supervisory authority if you believe your data has been processed unlawfully.

07 Data Retention

We retain your personal data only for as long as necessary to fulfill the purposes outlined in this policy:

  • Account Data: Retained for as long as your account is active, plus a reasonable period after account deletion for legal compliance.
  • Newsletter Data: Retained until you unsubscribe. After unsubscribing, your data is removed from our mailing list within 30 days.
  • Contact Form Submissions: Retained for up to 2 years, or until the matter is resolved.
  • Analytics Data: Aggregated and anonymized analytics data may be retained indefinitely, as it cannot be linked to individual users.
  • Comment Data: Retained indefinitely unless you request removal.

08 Data Security

We take the security of your personal data seriously and implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect it against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.

Non-Sport.Cards is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal data from children under 13. Trading card collecting is a hobby enjoyed by people of all ages, and we welcome young collectors — however, users under 13 should use the site with parental guidance.

If you believe we have inadvertently collected personal information from a child under 13, please contact us immediately so we can delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technology, legal requirements, or other factors. When we make material changes, we will:

  • Update the "Last Updated" date at the top of this page.
  • Post a notice on the site homepage for significant changes.
